Keystone FDA Compliant Colorants for PET
Posted by: KeystoneAnilineCorp on 12/03/2007

Keystone Aniline Corporation is pleased to announce the development and commercial launch of a 13 dye palette of colorants, the Keyplast PET range, with FDA Compliancy for PET. With the ever demanding growth of PET for packaging, bottles and many other FDA applications, new colorants and special effects have become a necessity. Based on the work done in Keystone's Chicago color application laboratories, Keystone Aniline Corporation has been granted "Letters of No Objection" on the complete current range of colorants from Keller & Heckman LLP thereby allowing for their use in Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) for food-contact applications. The Letters of No Objection detail the wider application and use flexibility these dyes give processors when working with PET.

Keystone Aniline Corporation truly believes this approach to the mass coloration of PET is a more economical approach, and when formulated properly can create new opportunities for customers in a very competitive "Food Contact" market.

Information, data and copies of the Keller & Heckman "Letters of not Objection" are available by contacting us or your Keystone Sales Representative. Please contact Keystone Aniline Corporation at 1-800-522-4393 or email us at info@dyes.com for additional technical information or samples.
