Keystone Aniline Corporation is pleased to announce the continued expansion of our product portfolio of colorants, dyes and special effects for plastics and polymers.  We have developed Keyplast Red CB; 606-195-50 (Solvent Red 195) designed to be a strong blue shade red typically used in polymers processed under 500F.  This extremely versatile dye can be used as a tinting component, or in mass tone, and can be formulated to create bright pinks to deep blue shade reds depending on the dye loading utilized.

Keystone Aniline Corporation continues to expand our product range of Nerosol dyes for the wood coatings marketplace.  The Nerosol liquid products are dye concentrates of specially selected, predominantly metal complex dyes formulated into solutions with glycol ether solvents.  The Nerosol dye ranges have complete solubility with alcohols, glycols, glycol ethers and water. 

The original line of 17 Nerosol liquid dyes has been expanded to now include two new complimentary product lines.

The Nerosol CRN range are 6 liquid concentrates formulated in a high flash glycol ether system that, like the original Nerosol line, can be shipped and labeled as non-flammable.

The Nerosol US range are based on the same 6 dyestuff as the Nerosol CRN range, but are formulated in a lower flash glycol ether system that allows them to be used with greater flexibility in a wider range of finishing and coating formulations. 

The option of being able to utilize either the Nerosol CRN line or the Nerosol US line gives formulators for wood stains and interior wood coatings much greater flexibility vs. competitive product lines offered in the marketplace.

All the Nerosol dyes are manufactured our Inman, SC liquid dye and dispersion production site.

Keystone Aniline Corporation has expanded our product offering range for the Keyfast Spirit  line of solvent dyes. The Keyfast Spirit dye range are predominantly pre-metalized spirit soluble dyestuffs for use in wood finishing applications, foil coatings,  writing and printing inks, automotive refinishing and any other applications where lightfastness and ketone solubility are required.  Keyfast Spirit dyes are particularly suited for applications requiring bright, clean brilliant shades and transparency. 

These dyes can also be used for coloration of certain plastics such as cellulose nitrate, cellulose acetate and polyester resins.

Keystone Europe is pleased to announce they will be represented by a new agent in Spain effective 1st October 2009.

Dehisa Cedicam is a private company  working in the industrial coatings sector for many years.  They provide technical expertise and experience in water based and solvent based coatings applications and markets. They will bring a synergy with the Keystone range for the Coatings sector in particular the Nerosol Liquid Dyes and Keyfast Spirit Dye range.

Keystone Europe is based in Huddersfield, UK and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Keystone Aniline Corporation of Chicago, IL.  Keystone Europe supply a wide range of dyes, pigments and colorants for many industrial markets through Europe and other parts of the world.

 Keystone Aniline Corporation has entered into a distribution agreement with the Dow Advanced Materials Division of The Dow Chemical Company (“Dow”), to market and sell Dow’s line of AUTOMATE^TM and Fluorescent concentrated liquid solvent dyes in the United States and Canada.

Keystone Aniline Corporation is pleased to announce a North American toll manufacturing and supply agreement with Kemira Chemicals.  Keystone Aniline Corporation will have selected and specific liquid dyes toll manufactured by Kemira at Kemira’s South Carolina Bushy Park production plant.  This production will be for all markets, including the Industrial Coatings and Ink and Inkjet segments.  The manufacturing agreement will cover both custom and standard production from Kemira’s state of the art manufacturing facility. The new agreement will assure continuous and consistent supply of important dyes that are currently being supplied into these markets.
