Leak Detection

Keystone Aniline Corporation has the necessary leak detector for most liquid systems. One of our most popular is the Keytect Tracer Yellow R Liquid, used for lubrication oils or for the detection of leaks in hydraulic systems. It is especially useful for detecting oil leaks in internal combustion engines or similar power equipment. When Keytect Tracer Yellow R is dissolved in lube oils or similar compounds, and illuminated by black light (ultra-violet), the resulting fluorescence is outstanding. It cannot be missed or misunderstood. This unique characteristic should enable you to trace or detect any flowage pattern of a lube oil. Sand holes in castings, improperly seated gaskets, joints or connectors that are improperly tightened, etc, will be very obvious and easy to find.
