Keystone is a leading supplier of colorants to the vast and varied markets. Keystone Aniline Corporation offers many types of Security Tags, Taggants and Markers for use in Polymers and Plastic applications. Product Identity fraud (PIF) is a general term encompassing alteration, counterfeiting and diversion of raw materials and finished goods. One way to secure products against PIF is to include Security Marking and Security Tagging systems into the manufactured goods and raw materials. Often these Security systems are incorporated directly into the polymers, as valid systems for use in Plastics and Polymers.

Keystone Aniline Corporation is the exclusive North American distributor for the Reversacol photochromic dyes manufactured by James Robinson Ltd. James Robinson is a world leader in the development of innovative photochromic dyes. These are special dyes that reversibly change color upon exposure to ultraviolet sources, such as sunlight. James Robinson produces a large range of photochromic dyes under the Revrsacol trade name.

Photochromic dyes are currently used in Security and Brand Protection in applications such as Passports and ID’s, Banknotes, Driving licenses, Lottery Tickets and Gaming cards, Tax stamps, postage stamps, admission tickets, vouchers, CD’s, DVD’s, Games, Blister Foil and Cigarette Cartons. When correctly formulated, the products colored with Reversacol dyes are colorless until exposed to sufficient UV or sunlight. The Keystone Aniline technical teams are expert in the application and formulation of these dyes and welcome any inquiries related to use of photochromic dye.
